Job Summary
The Service Technician plays a critical role in keeping our customers up and running. You’ll be responsible for
draft beer and soft drink line cleaning,
equipment installations,
fountain soda and draft system service,
cooler and vendor repairs, and
emergency service calls. This position requires safe operation of company vehicles and equipment and a strong commitment to workplace safety.

Essential Functions
Operational Responsibilities
- Perform assigned line cleanings, service calls, installations, and deliveries
- Maintain clean, organized company fleet vehicles
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times
- Order, track, and maintain proper inventory levels for parts and equipment
- Complete and submit required documentation accurately and on time
- Effectively use Service Department software (Salesforce)
Customer & Team Focus
- Coordinate with sales teams to ensure timely, high-quality service
- Communicate with customers to assess needs and recommend solutions
- Deliver outstanding internal and external customer service
- Investigate, document, and report all accidents, incidents, and injuries
- Assist with performance evaluations and disciplinary processes as needed
- Ensure warehouse and fleet housekeeping standards are consistently met
Self-Management
- Diagnose problems and take initiative to resolve them
- Complete tasks within scheduled timeframes
- Adapt to changing priorities and overcome obstacles
- Willingness to pursue ongoing training and education
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Draft beer line cleaning experience (a plus)
- Draft beer or fountain soda installation and troubleshooting
- Refrigeration repair and maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using:
- Hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.)
- Power tools (drills, saws, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
- Proficiency with Salesforce and Outlook preferred
Work Requirements
- Ability to work additional hours as needed
- Timely notification to supervisor when calling out sick
- Required use of company-issued uniforms, tools, and PPE
- Valid New York State driver’s license
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards
- Outdoor work in varying conditions (rain, snow, heat, cold)
- Ability to push/pull up to 165 lbs
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, squat, twist, reach, balance, and grasp throughout the workday
- All work-related injuries or incidents must be reported immediately (no later than one hour)
