Architect/ Designer (3-5 years)

Saratoga Associates is seeking qualified candidates to fill the full time position of Architect or Designer in our Saratoga Springs Office. Candidates should have 3-5 years of professional experience and will participate in multi-discipline design teams with building and site analysis, concept design, production of construction documents, project presentation graphics and construction administration efforts. This position is ideal for candidates that are looking to enhance their professional skills, and a desire to advance professionally, as it offers great growth potential.

Education/Experience:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited Architecture program is required. The preferred candidate should be on a career track for professional registration as an Architect in the state of New York.

Duties:

• Work collaboratively on diverse project teams that focus on a broad spectrum of architectural design
• Independently develop and advance project objectives based on supervision by licensed professionals;
• Excellent hand drawing and computer graphics a plus;
• Execute design related tasks, technical deliverables and administrative assignments;
• Ability to assist in all aspects of design and construction documents.

Desired Skill Sets:

• Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp;
• Excellent design and presentation skills to develop computer generated presentation graphics, plans, data and reports;
• Demonstrate dependability, positive attitude and strong work ethic;
• Demonstrate sound analytical, research, writing and oral communication skills;
• Demonstrate organized and self-motivated execution of responsibilities;
• Demonstrate ability to provide construction observation and report on field conditions;
• New York State Registration a plus;
• Proof of US citizenship or permanent resident status.

Compensation:

$58,000 – $70,000 salary, commensurate with education and experience.
