The LA Group Landscape Architecture and Engineering, P.C, a Saratoga Springs based multi-disciplinary firm is seeking a part-time (20-30 hours per week) Accounting and Administrative Assistant. The qualified candidate will have at least 2 years of experience, with a minimum of an associate degree.
This position will assist all our Business office with day-to-day office administrative support, billing, accounts payable and other bookkeeping-related tasks and will report to the CFO with oversight by others.
Requirements:
· Proficient editing, formatting, and proofing skills.
· Proficient English composition skills are required.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (including Word and Excel).
· Basic bookkeeping and/or accounting skills. This position will involve data entry into our accounting system, accounts payable and invoicing clients.
· Assist the CFO, Front Desk Coordinator and Billing Coordinator on special projects as needed.
· Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suites CS5 and PowerPoint are a plus.
· General document formatting, file management and record keeping skills required.
· Ability to grasp and follow instructions.
· Answer phones for a multi line phone system.
· Must have the ability to interact well with both clients and staff.
· Ability to Handle outgoing mail and overnight mail.
The award-winning firm is currently working both locally and nationally on various high-end design projects and is located in the City of Saratoga Springs.
Salary Range: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour plus benefits including 1/2 day Friday work schedule in the summer months.
Actual compensation may vary based on relevant experience, qualifications/education, and other factors. Salary range excludes monetary value of benefits.
