The Northeast Organic Farming Association of New York's annual Winter Conference will take place January 18-20, 2019, at the Saratoga Hilton & City Center in Saratoga Springs, NY. One of the largest conferences in the region, the NOFA-NY 2019 Winter Conference will feature over 100 educational workshops across 13 tracks. The theme of this year's conference is “Climate of Change.” The Winter Conference Keynote Speaker will be Leah Penniman, Co-Director & Program Manager of Soul Fire Farm in Grafton, New York. Leah is the author of the forthcoming book, Farming While Black: Soul Fire Farm’s Practical Guide to Liberation on the Land . Concurrent with our Winter Conference, NOFA-NY is honored to host the Second Biennial Northeast Organic Seed Conference. The Seed Conference will offer an in-depth look at plant breeding and seed saving practices throughout the Northeast.
