DESCRIPTION:In our Wilderness Self Aid W.S.A. we will discuss at length the essential survival kit and how it can best be utilized to treat the most common injuries and ailments in the wilderness. This course leans heavily on self-aid and the treatment of bleeding\, airway management\, trauma\, shock and core temperature control along with the three core skills of survival. The target audience is anyone who regularly engages in outdoor activities. Students will receive upon completion of this training a nationally recognized certification in Basic Wilderness First Aid. Students must be at least 16 years of age for certification and will receive a two year Certification Card.\n\n\nNOTE:  Materials include book\, course outline materials and the certification card.
