DESCRIPTION:Twilight Cemetery Tour Wednesday\, October 30\, 2018 5PM   6PM $10 On Tuesday\, October 30\, 2018 the Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation presents Twilight Cemetery Tour: Madness\, Murder\, Untimely Deaths\, and Strange Coincidences\, a rare opportunity to explore Greenridge Cemetery at dusk. Volunteer docent Gloria May will navigate the tombs and monuments of Greenridge Cemetery\, discussing the historical and architectural background of the American rural cemetery movement while unearthing tales of Saratoga's most notable residents. Come discover the final resting place of many individuals who made Saratoga Springs home while taking in the spooky spirit of the season! Meet at the Sackett Gates entrance of Greenridge Cemetery off of Lincoln Avenue. Tour lasts approximately one hour and requires walking & standing on varied terrain. Pre-registration preferred.
