DESCRIPTION:The Chamber's Small Business Owners Council will meet with Assemblywoman Carrie Woerner\, on Monday\, February 8\, at 8:30 a.m\, via Zoom.\n\nPre-registration is required. Attendees must be the owner of the small business to participate.\n\n\n\nAssemblywoman Woerner is a member of the Assembly's New York Economy Workgroup. The members of this workgroup are meeting with small business owners across the state to develop a set of legislative initiatives that will remove impediments to businesses restarting and growing post-COVID.\n\n\n\nThe small business owners on the call will be asked to talk about obstacles that exist to them starting their businesses back up fully\, including but not limited to: regulations and regulatory agency actions\; financing\; infrastructure\; COVID testing\, PPE and other safety precautions for employees\, customers\, clients\; Internet access\; childcare limitations\; availability of skilled workers\; and how the public can be encouraged to re-engage in public activities like shopping and dining again.
