SUMMARY:Preparing your Lawn and Garden for Spring ( FREE ) Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Join us at Brookside Nursery for this FREE Workshop\, teaching you how to have your best growing season yet!\n\n\n\nEver wonder why your lawn and gardens aren't growing the way you thought they would? Especially since you've been doing all the right things- feeding\, mowing to the recommended height\, planting in proper sunlight\, etc. The pH of the soil in your yard plays a major part in your success ( soil composition is another major player- but we tend to notice this!) and is often overlooked.\n\n\n\nWe'll go over preparing your garden or lawn soil for the season\, what shrubs and plants are best for your soil. How to amend your soil if necessary. We will happily answer all of the questions you may have and talk about solutions that are specific to your yard and garden.\n\n\n\nFor this Workshop- Gardeners are encouraged to get their soil tested at the Saratoga County Cornell Cooperative Extension. Soil samples are $1 each. Please bring your results with you ...to our workshop. Couldn't get your soil tested in time? Swing by for great gardening information anyways!\n\n\n\nPlease send an email to RSVP for this FREE workshop\n\naissabrooksidenursery@gmail.com\n\n\n\nSaratoga County Cornell Cooperative Extension\n\n50 West High Street Ballston Spa NY 12020\n\n(518) 885-8995\n\nhttp://ccesaratoga.org/gardening-landscape/soil-testing
