DESCRIPTION:The School of Orchestral Studies is the final school hosted by Skidmore College. 95 students selected from statewide auditions reside and study at Skidmore College under the Artistic Direction of Ransom Wilson\, renown flutist and professor of music at Yale University and Purchase College. Students study with members of the Philadelphia Orchestra during their summer residency at SPAC while studying a repertoire which parallels that of the Orchestra.
