The last day will be spent whittling spoons with your knife. Steel selection\, basic metallurgy\, heat treating and sharpening will be covered as well as local wood selection for spoons and safe carving grips. This class is best suited for people who have some experience in at least one of these subject areas or for beginners who are up for a challenge.\n\n \n\nNOTE:  Hard shoes and long pants are required for student's safety.
