DESCRIPTION:You are invited to attend the 2016 Vocal Scholarship Award\, sponsored by BHOS. The event is free and open to the public. This year\, BHOS proudly presents seven talented and passionate musicians.\n\n									\n\n									Every year\, the Burnt Hills Oratorio Society (BHOS) sponsors a Vocal Scholarship Award (VSA) to acknowledge the talent of high school vocal students and to support their ongoing music education.  High school juniors and seniors from across the region\, sponsored by their voice instructors\, are invited to perform for adjudicators and the public.  One or more students are awarded a cash prize and an opportunity to perform during a BHOS concert.\n\n									\n\n									Each student has prepared two songs from the standard vocal repertoire\, including art songs\, show tunes\, and opera arias.\n\n									\n\n									This is a perfect showcase for young vocal talent in our area. Come early and enjoy lunch in Saratoga Springs. Then join us in the H. Dutcher Community Room.
