DESCRIPTION:A special inspirational lunch with Dr. Michael Halstead\, The Survivor!\n\n\n\nWhen thinking about how to kick off the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce's 6th Annual Health & Wellness Week\, we asked Dr. Mike Halstead to come to Saratoga Springs to share his story. Join us for a special health lunch\, at the Holiday Inn\, on Wednesday\, February 5th\, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. \n\n\n\nHis friends in the global Triathlete community call him The Survivor.\n\n \n\nBut Dr. Mike Halstead's victories have not been confined to these multi-sport endurance races. \n\nInstead\, Dr. Mike's survival story is one of resilience and perseverance. It's a story that includes victories related to his personal health as well as in the water\, on a bike\, and running. \n\n \n\nThe fact that he is able to compete at a world-class level still to this day is awe inspiring and legendary. But his survival story includes lessons for everyone no matter what goals you might have for your own personal health and wellness. \n\n \n\nDr. Mike will take part in a Q&A with Chamber President Todd Shimkus. He's talk about his medical challenges and what steps he took to not just survive but to thrive really. \n\n \n\nDr. Mike knows we can all be survivors. We share his optimism.
