DESCRIPTION:Assists Owners/Managers to properly interpret law governing those involved in sale of Alcoholic Beverages  \n\n           FREE\nABC LAW TRAINING\n\n \n\nThe Empire State Restaurant and\nTavern Association (ESTRA) is pleased to announce that they are teaming up with\nand Tech Valley Security and Southern Wine & Spirits to offer the\ninvaluable and sought after training titled “The ABC’s of the Alcoholic Beverages Control Law”. The training\,\ndeveloped with the assistance of the State Liquor Authority provides owners and\nmanagers of licensed premises with the tools and information they need to\ncomply with the Alcoholic Beverage Control law.\n\n \n\nIt is well accepted that compliance\nwith the law is the best way to protect the public\, our communities and our\nbusinesses. This program will give you\, as an owner or manager\, an understanding\nof your duties and responsibilities under the law. But this training is more\nthan a mere listing of the laws you must follow. In addition to explaining the\nState Liquor Authority’s expectations of licensees\, the program provides\ndetailed guidance on the steps that you can take to ensure you operate in\ncompliance with the law.\n\n \n\nThis comprehensive training will be\ndelivered by Bob Benedetto (NY State Liquor Authority - Retired) and Scott\nWexler\, Executive Director of the Empire State Restaurant & Tavern\nAssociation. It will take place on Wednesday\,\nNovember 5\, 2014 between the hours of 9:30 AM and 12:45 PM at the American\nLegion Post 1450\, 275 Grooms Road\, Clifton Park\, New York 12065. (Just east of\nExit 8A\, Northway)  Parking will be\navailable on site. Refreshments will be provided.\n\n \n\nThanks to the generous support of\nSouthern Wine & Spirits this training will be provided free of charge\, but\nseating is limited so we must limit the number of attendees to two management\nlevel representatives per business. \n\n \n\nYou must pre-register for the ABC\nLaw training by contacting Tech Valley Security at 518-720-3709 or at info@techvalleysecurity.com.\nOnly those who pre-register will be permitted to attend the training session.
